the Wizard of OZ. These beautiful Cypripedium hybrids can
really change the appearance of your garden. A true treasure
to appreciate in Spring.

Cypripedium Sabine is a cross
between C. fasciolatum and C. macranthos. The flowers are
large and long lasting and have a faint blush to them,
This comes from it parent C. macranthos.

C. Aki is a cross between
C. macranthos X C.
pubescens.

This particular hybrid is a selected form as
the same cross to the right. This is a very rare
selection, seldom offered.

Cypripedium species, known commonly as hardy 'Lady's-Slipper Orchids'. We are also interested in all native hardy orchids
and understanding how they grow and propagate. We want all
entering this site to know how to grow them.
